Punk bedroom?

Question

I want to redo my room. I want it to be a little punk but still be fun. I don't want it harsh, goth, and stuff. Any ideas where to shop or what to do?

Fun Goth/Emo styled rooms usually include black,red,pink

You can have like  skulls with bows. Wall decor with pinkish black scratched up flowers. To decorate your bed use fishnet to cover things and wrap things.

You can use these Hannah Montana wall stickers like the purple and pink things that DONT HAVE HANNAH MONTANA ON THEM. You might find these at AC Moore.

You should edit the stickers your way

And you can get fake flowers and spray paint them your goth colors. You can change your curtain by making the bottom scratched up and stringy. And change your bed sheets.

Remember you can  hand make most things in your room.

Then the walls can be painted a shade a little lighter than the pink in the bedding.

hey! i have a pretty punk style too. i painted it grey with black carpet, but my room is very big so i can pull it off. if you go to ebay you can find really cool-looking and very cheap electric guitars and violins just to line the walls with and make it look really awesome. some guitars are only about 9 dollars (they aren't great to play, but can look really great for just decoration) another great trick is lining just one wall with black and white photos of things that you like to look at, or frame them.  go for simple and bold colours (just accent your room with crazy colours, as in decorations) and keep things simple with clean lines. have your furniture sit low to the floor and go for a modern and simple look.

one of my best pieces of decorating advice is this...take a record (can be found at thrift stores such as goodwill for only a few cents), print out a rounded black and white picture (CD cover sized) and paste it onto the middle of the record, where the lable is. it creates a unique, funky, interesting piece of art. your own personal record! hang these on the wall. two, three, or thirty..it'll look awesome : ))

i like the bedding and chandelier that princess mandy suggested, i think its a modern punk look that is not too goth. for the walls, i think cool stenciled paint could be really nice.
