Punta Cana Excursions??

Question

We will be traveling to PC in August, 2008. We were there about 4 years ago and did the Outback Tour, which was phenomenal. Are there any "do not miss" excursions that we should know about, or should we just save our money and stick to the hotel grounds? We are staying at the Majestic Colonial this time (last time was Grand Palladium Bavaro)

Theres lots of tours you can book ahead of time in that area. Scubadoo Excursion ,  Snorkel Excursion to The Island Catalina , Speed Boats, Dolphin Encounter at Ocean World, and much more.  Have fun!

hello. i am going to the D R in a week and a bit and I hear that the dolphin swimming is amazing and some sort of truck ride through a safari thing. hope this helps !

and if there is anything you can recommend to me for going next week that would be great !

The not to miss excursion? ISLA SAONA , I'm very astonished you didn't do this one last time you where there!?

The other one Alto de Chavon ( La Romana) also a must, and Las Cueva de las Maravillas.

Saona island.  Absolutely gorgeous.  We took a Catamaran there which served lots of drinks- (after a long bus ride well kinda long 1-2 hours)  We stayed at sirenis cockatal Saona had a fantastic beach with bar b q lunch dominican style lots of drinks and a speed boat back with a stop on the reef with more drinks.  it was gorgeous and alot of fun.  want to go back. you gotta do it!!!!!
