  1. Check weather.com for averages but you can expect temps in the low to mid 80s year around with rain sometime during the day on half of the days.

  2. If you come to the capital, Santo Domingo. I love showing people around Colonial Zone. I call my little non-tour The Dominican Culture Tour. It's a walking tour of Colonial Zone and we stop in the Colmados to hang with the locals and have a few beers (Presidente cerveza of course).

If you would like to learn about my Dominican Republic check the web site below and drop me a line in the About Us section

  3. About the weather no problem at all every day sun sun sun.

The "cool excursions" that's the real negative side, because in Punta Cana/Bavaro the town is 35 miles away! and there really nothing to see or do. If you want to travel and to discover this beautiful country go to the north coast Puerto Plata, bigger beach, Ocean World, Isabel de Torre (cable car) and the town at 10 min from your resort. Excursions :

about 25 different ones so see what you really want.......

    Anyway enjoy it!

  4. Check the site below.  Scroll down a bit and it will show you past years in February.  I've also included a link which may help with things to do.

  5. visit, www.tripadvisor.co.uk and go to peurto plata forum, there is a guy called bob who lives in the area who updates the weather forecast daily, that will give you a good idea close to your departure date what the weather has really been like.  there is loads of info on there. enjoy your hols, we leave in 6 days time, can't wait. xx
