Punta Cana sailboat/catamaran chartering or day excursions?

I am vacationing in Punta Cana in a couple of weeks and I am hoping to do some yacht/catamaran sailing. I am an experienced sailor and was hoping to either charter a sailboat for a day or go on a sailing day trip (with a staff) where I can take over and sail.

Does anybody know of a company that offers these options?

Hi Jeff,

The most of the sailboats/catamarans are for mass tourism,

so you gonna have some difficulty to find one for your small party (even on charter), the owner are very cautious with their boats due to the tricky waters down there.

And if you find a charter you will pay much money : between

1.500 and 5.000 us....
