At night your pupils become larger so it is easier to see in the dark. What would everything look like in the day if your pupils were large? Because if your pupils are small at night, you cant see a thing, so if you had large pupils in the day would you have a hard time seeing too?

  1. No, having larger pupils during the day would not increase your vision, it would leave you susceptible to more eye problems, more sensitive to light etc. Ever notice that when you squint you see better? That's because it makes the area of  vision that much smaller.

  2. I---T!

  3. You would have extensive eye damage a lot sooner in your life.  They shrink because you simply don't need that much light during the day.  They enlarge in the night to absorb more of the absent light.
