Puppies butt hurts when touched?

My puppies like back part of his body hurts when we touch it or try to lift him up. Just started today. He is 20 weeks old. He whines a lot when touched. Hes eating, drinking, and sleeping fine can you guys help me with this. I want to make sure hes ok. And i know most of my questions are about this puppy.

You should take him to a local groomer to get his anal glands expressed. My dog does the same thing when she needs to get expressed. It is a lot of pain is discomfort for them! Get it done ASAP!

May need to have it's anal glands expressed. If you haven't done this before, or seen it done. .. call your groomer or vet and make an appt for them to do it.

It might be growing pains. You should check to make sure your dog food isn't high in protein and causing him to grow too quickly.

I think it's his anal gland.  Did he try to rub his butt across the floor as well?  You can have his anal gland expressed. Petco or Petsmart can do it for you for $5 - $10.

Has he been to the vet lately to get shots? Sometimes its sensitive when they give the puppy a shot in the muscle back by the bottom area. If not, maybe he got stung by something?

Take the little guy to the vet.   It's the only way you'll know if he's ok.   If you love him, take him.
