Hi,

I bought a dried pigs ear a month ago, and she chewed all day till it was moist and (looked digestible and she ate it all.

Now i bought some more and gave her one thursday, she buried the ear,

then dug it up 1 hour latter.

I thought it was buried.

She came in to the house and i gave her another pig ear, and she bit off chunks and looked like she swallowed pieces that were hard.

My question is can i give her pig ears., She has very hard well formed baby teeth with sharp fangs, her molars do not look like baby teeth but i don't know.

Thank You, Tim C

  2. Heelers LOVE to chew things.  They remember where they buried things, even much later.  Sometimes they bury things under furniture or in laundry baskets.  If she is burying big treats, try something smaller or give her stuffed Kongs instead.
