your links to the first 2 videos did not work, but puppy mills are absolutely horrible!!!  all of them should be shut down, criminal charges should be filed against the breeders, all pet stores that sell dogs and cats should be shut down as well.

They are horrible and they torture puppies. They breed dogs with their brother or sister which causes birth deffects and can make them more aggresive

I don't support them at all in any way!! How can you look at those animals sitting in cages their whole life with no affection no love no caretaker. Noone to pet them... and not just that but they are starving their paws gets sores from the bars and walking in heir own f***s and flith!! This may not sound so bad to you because you aren't putting it into context. Imagine if you lived your life in a cage and your feet were always peeling and burning with pain but you just grew used to it because that is what you've lived with your whole life. You're used to feeling cramped and having the smell of amonia burning your brain cells and the constant feel of hunger - starvation and then having to have a litter of puppies every few months only to see them taken away and need to have more!

Puppy mills need to be made illegal (if it's my understanding they are in some places) AND this law needs to be inforced. The dogs need to be rescued and places need to be set up all around the country with volunteers and volunteer veterinarians taking care of them and adopting them off.

These dogs are overjoyed at the feel of grass on their feet, fresh air, regular feeding, and clean water... all of the very very basics of llving.

The sad truth though even if we try to step in and help these thousands or more dogs is that many of them have only come into contact with humans for occasional food or random things here and there that they are too unsocialized and scared of humans to be able to flourish and live happily in any setting - thus resulting in euthanization. Guess who made them that way?? These mills, also many have extensive injuries and almost ALL of them have extensive medical issues to the extent that they must be put down...

How can you call this BELIEVABLE, let alone humane to mess up so many little lives FOREVER it isn't something every dog can EVER recover from.... i am always so appalled at the many pet stores put in business by puppy mills.

i think there a great work from home business. but i wouldn't start one. cause i can't stand the smell of dogs and there poo and pee

As for the rest of your question. I don't need a video to form my opinion on puppy mills. They need much more strict regulations so that they are not hurting any dogs. Not all puppy mills involve forced mating, neglect and abuse- most do.

Well, they're horrible of course! Thank goodness for Oprah! They closed down most puppy stores around my area! :O

I got my dog from a breeder..I know it's probably not any better, but my family's allergic. We got a mostly purebred Maltese so the risk of being allergic would be a bit lower.. ):

Anyone that support puppy mills is an idiot.  All puppy mills should be shut down.  And the owners should pay a big fine to take care of the animals and also do some jail time for animal cruelty.
