Question:

Puppy attacking mother?

My dogs pup always attacks her. She'd bite on her neck and face and be so mean to her. The mother used to stop her but its gone to a point were the mother is scared of her and just lowers her head and she looks so frightened. I don't know what to do with the pup i think shes trying to be dominant or something . Any suggestions!

If it's truly aggression and the puppy isn't just playing roughly, then you may need to find a new home for the puppy. Even if you can train it to behave when you're around, it may still attack the mother if you aren't there and they aren't separated. You should never leave them alone together, or sooner or later, the puppy may injure the mother.

maybe u should intervene. your stronger than the puppy so maybe u should try to teach her to stop.

Please find a home for  the puppy - now.

And no more hitting - that is the sure fire way to make a dog so it will be completely impossible to place anywhere, if it sees humans as its attackers.

This dog needs discipline and training, with someone who knows what they are doing.  Please find that person and send the puppy onto with them - and then GET YOUR DOG SPAYED.  If you don't know what you're doing with a puppy that you have to swat it, and that is what she produces, it shouldn't be happening any more.  Period.

Your right, the pup has over stepped her boundaries. Depending on it's age and the type of pup. Try holding the pup gently but firmly on it's back, a dominant dog will struggle, so expect that and hold tight.

Talk firmly but gently as to not to frighten the pup, try not to repeat yourself to much and demand the dog to submit.

Say NO, STOP, be nice, be gentle, that sort of thing. Once the pup submits or tires out put her down and then reassure her and show her the right way she should behave a chew toy might come in handy help distract her frustration. She must learn that that behavior is wrong.
