I have a puppy that had Parvo disease , it is a cross between a poodle and jack russell , His ears are big for a small dog and he seems to have a crusty small infection on both ears just inside the tips , he also scratches for hours with his foot inside his ear till he yelps sometimes, then he shakes his head for ages and starts the whole process again , i also found a lump above his shoulder on his neck, someone said it maybe because he had injection for Parvo recently ,

  1. You need to take you dog to the vet immediately. It sounds like he has an ear infection & he's in pain. Only your vet can diagnose your dogs lump & ear problem..

  2. Take him to the vet,its the best way.

  3. Either wax buildup, or ear mites/fleas... The lump could be:

    Wart

    Cyst

    Cancerous Tumour(Worst thing)

    Embedded Tick

Please take him to the veterinarians.

  4. the lump could definitely be from the parvo vaccination. If you are concerned, call your vet. However, I have a teacup poodle, and I did a lot of research before purchasing this dog. Poodles tend to grow long hairs in their ears that need to be plucked (preferably by a groomer if you aren't comfortable doing it or trained). These hairs can cause infections. Which sounds like that's what happened with your pooch. I would recommend taking him to a groomer to have his ears and nails done if not his coat as well. I hope you pooch feels better soon!!

  5. The ear problem is likely to be an ear infection, get it checked out at the vets

  6. Take him back to the vet to get checked out.  Don't let him scratch.  That'll just make it worse.

  7. sounds like ticks or some other kind of mite you should go to vets and get it sorted

  8. My boston terrier had the same thing with her ears I think.  She was absolutely miserable and would scratch at her ears till they would scab and she would yelp.  She had a type of yeast infection in both her ears.  You need to take him to the vet and they will give his ears a good cleaning and then give you some medicine for his ears.  My bostons ears cleared up pretty quick after we gave her the medicine.  It was a little scary though cause you have to put it way down in the ear canal.

  9. I would take him to the vet. I wouldnt think that he would have a knot from the shot my dog didnt. He might need some kind of drops for his ears sounds like ear mites.

  10. sometimes, dogs get earwax buildup and their ears get irritated.  And it can cause them to get a lump inside or outside their ear. I would have it checked by a vet. He can give you something to put on his ears to make it better.
