Puppy vaccines help?

my puppy got his first shots today vaccines for one thing idk what and another vaccine for parvo and a distemper shot ..how long after the first set of shots do i have to wait until i get him his other shots? and what shots does he need for his second shots?

If your vet didn't tell you or give you a care package they will send you a reminder card when it's time for the next shots.

Vets have different schedules.  Usually between 2 and 4 weeks from the set he just had.

how old is the pup between 6-9 weeks first distemper combo

12 weeks rabies /distemper combo 16 wks dist combo. bord if needed

or lymes if wanted 2 weeks later for second bord or lymes if ness.

Okay, the person that you got the dog from does not seem to know a whole lot about dogs, which is scary.

Take your dog to get examined by a vet ASAP.  Not only will they give you vaccination information, you dog should be examined for any medical problems such as hernias, open fontanel, etc.

Your dog should get a series of 3 shots that include parvo, distemper, and a few others once a month until completed.

Then rabies vaccination at 4 months.  Then a year later.  Then after that every 3 years.

Bortadella varies.  It is once a year if it is given as an injection.  If it is given in the nose that is every 6 months.

Your puppy should have also been dewormed as well.

Although, I highly suggest you take your questions and concerns to a veterinarian.

your vet should have told you that. It might be on the paper work or you can just give them a call.

You need to call her and ask her (the breeder) how many vaccines she has given he pup up to that date you got him.  The "vaccine for parvo and a distemper shot " is given 3 times with 2-3 weeks inbetween.  The "vaccines for one thing idk what" you really need to know what she gave.  Your vet will want to know, or the pup will get them ALL again.  The little vials that the vaccine came out of have labels on them that tell all the information about the vaccine (every single shot has a different number) and your vet would want them.  Just call her up and she will be happy to provide you with what you need.

Back to when you need to go to the vet.  You really should go right away to ensure you were sold/given a healthy dog.
