Purchase a used whitewater kayak and training?

I was wondering where the best place would be to get training for whitewater kayaking and maybe pick up a used boat?

I'm sure you have a boating store somewhere near you, so I'd recommend going to them for advice. Also, there are often ads up for used boats in boating stores...at least that's been my experience.

Locate the Canadian Canoe and Kayak national organization. They will give you an address of a local club. Try the news rack for canoe and kayak magazines. They will list Canadian schools...Try, Bear Paw Outdoor center in Wisconsin or Nantahala Outdoor Center in NC.
