  1. He bought if from n**i war criminals. South America is where all war criminals hide.

  2. no war crimes

  3. If indeed this is true, this happened two years ago, so it's not really news. There's no documented evidence to prove this story.

Paraguay is no longer a 'safe haven' for people on the run. Fernando Lugo is in charge there now and has signed extradition agreements with the US and other countries. Besides, Congress will never bring charges against him, and the next president will pardon him. That's just the way it goes.

Apparently, Bush Sr owns nearly 200,000 acres there as part of an ecological reserve. Also, the area that Bush Jr allegedly bought is near Bolivian gas reserves and the Guarani indigenous water region. Water & gas that is controlled by four different countries in that region and is a precious resource. ( While Bolivia controls much of the deposits, the second largest in the Western Hemisphere, the area in question contains vast natural gas reserves.)

Also, over the last decades, large companies have "bought" out, pushed out, burned out the smaller farmers in the region and has caused major poverty there. These big farmers are growing genetically engineered soybeans.

Bush is a businessman. If indeed there was a purchase of land it was for Money and control, not asylum.

  4. Paraguay offers immunity to U.S. politicians and soldiers from international tribunals and criminal charges.

His farm and his daddy's farm also sit very close to one of South America's largest natural gas fields, very convenient for an oil and gas man.

  6. A great place to hide.

  7. Whatever the reason he will make money on it I am sure.

  8. JUST PART OF THE NEW WORLD ORDER.  ;-)

maybe he wants to have his own country to rule & be the decider.

  9. Do you have a source for this info? I cannot seem to find a reference, I would think it would be big news considering how much land that is, over 154 sq. miles. Almost 1/10 of 1% of the total area of the country. Considering how much of Paraguay is river, swamp and jungle that would be a significant amount.

  10. It depends. He could be looking for Oil.I think I heard that there was Oil in Brazil maby he wants to get a head start. On the other hand maby he is using it for future Cattle Land.
