Question:

Purchase price honouring. ?

I bought a table for $188 but there was a small scratch on the display model. The sales girl said they had another at their other branch across the city if I cared to pick it up. After arriving at their other store the prices were different and apparently the original store had made an error with the price. The store owner said that they cannot sell it for $188 but at $269. I am really annoyed since we wasted 2 hours deciding on the table and other items from the store to be told this. A refund is offered but I believe they should honour this price, especially when you take into account our time, petrol and also a friends petrol who came to pick it up for us. Where do I legally stand? Thanks
