Purchasing Liquor store in Staten Island NY and need suggestions on due diligence?

I know a bit of a niche question... but I've done exhaustive research and would like to see if anyone can offer any suggestions, general or from personal experience, on due diligence concerning liquor laws, store financials, anything else, etc.
