Purchasing an extended warranty through Porsche?

Question

If I purchase an Porsche from a non-Porsche dealership, can I still purchase the extended warranty offered from Porsche? Or do I have to purchase a third party warranty?

I was interested in the purchasing the warranty from Porsche directly if possible. What is their policy?

If it is not brand new, no. And anyways those extended warrantys are just a way for the dealerships and companys to get money out of you. You do not need an extended warranty.

Yes, any Porsche owner can purchase the Porsche Extended Warranty as long as the car passes the 111-point check at the Official Porsche Centre (additional charge for the check). You can get the car under extended warranty for up to 10 years or up to 125,000 miles (whichever come first).
