Purchasing tickets for the Mavs?

Okay, so I called American Airlines Arena today and was told that tickets go on sale on October 4th @ 10 am...however, some sites such as stubhub.com and ticketsnow.com already have tickets for sale. Are these legit? The last game we went to, the tickets were purchased through Ticketmaster, which seems a little safer, but I'm just sooo anxious to buy tickets. Has anyone purchased tickets through these sites, or purchased tickets before they were even on sale?

I'm a season ticket holder for the Lakers .Lakers season tickets went on sale already .Single games tickets go on sale later maybe OCT 4th like you say.The tickets you see on stubhub.com are just season ticket holders like me dumping game tickets we don't want.

Stubhub sales the tickets for us.
