Purched used vehicle Mar 21, Arlington TX, tags not in at dealer, all ready replaced tempt tag once,?

This tag runs out this week. I called again today, same story, something about sometimes title is from out state and takes time. Vehicle has metal TX tag on it. They say to just come get another remp tag. Is there a way to check this out?

Contact your local Department of Transportation, Vehicle Titles & REgistration office.  The telephone number and address will be in your local telephone directory under "Texas, State of".  Contact that office to see if the registration and titling of your vehicle has been processed by the State and if not, ask why.  You may be asked to take your documentation to the office to demonstrate you have already paid everything accordingly, but I'm sure they will work with you to resolve the issue appropriately and promptly.
