Purity ring question?

hello all. I'm quite confused at the moment and i was wondering if you could help. i looked at other questions that others have asked about purity rings but none of them helped. people have said they bought them as purity rings. but I read in an article that a woman bought a ring and then got it blessed at her church. has anyone heard of this?

and if so, have any of you done the same?

one wats the question and if she did that's weird and purity means you will not have s*x in till marriage so if your thinking of getting one make sure u can make that kind of commitment

I thought that a purity ring is a ring that you wear symbolizing you staying pure until marrige. (Not having s*x til you get married).

It's just a symbol, the important thing is what the symbol means to you, not what the people were thinking when they manufactured it.

If you get a ring you really like, and get it blessed, and to you it symbolises purity, and you make this decision for yourself, that's the important thing.
