Purity rings......?

i really want a purity ring becuase i would love love love to make that promise to myself but i honestly dont think that i can stay a virgin til im married i dont know whay but its just a feeling. Is it terrible to think that? I am Christian.

i'm 20 and i have a purity ring. you have to set boundaries as to how far your willing to go. set the limits then don't go near them. i came close once but i told him "we are not having s*x. end of story" so he respected that. just stand firm. have a couple friends get one with you. that way you have someone to be accountable with. good luck! i know you can do it!

Make the promise to yourself, then. You don't need a silly ring for that. It's a personal choice, I see no reason at all to make a big public song and dance of it.

Personally I don't think it's terrible to think you might have s*x before marriage. I did. (And now I'm married to him.)

What a nimrod!  If you are good for each other, communicate well, put the other before you, understand each other, do not judge each other, love each other, then you are compatible sexually.  You dont have to have s*x before you are married to determine that.

Not to mention the fact that you can tell whether you are attracted to someone without doing the deed.  Consider this:  How do you feel when you give each other 'that look'?  How do you feel when you kiss?  Trust me, you'll know way before you have s*x whether or not you are sexually compatible!

As far as a purity ring...Im sure they might have official ones but...save yourself some money...go to the jewelry store...and buy yourself that promise ring.  You can turn any ring into a purity ring, you can even have any ring engraved with a phrase to remind yourself what it is for.

I think it's right to have s*x before you're married. Otherwise you could marry someone you're not sexually compatible with.
