Purple Hair streak for ginger?

Question

I'm a ginger with freckles and i have golden red hair. I really want to put one small frosted purple streak on the back/ underneath of my hair(kinda like massie in the clique book). would this look good? Do u think i'm to young to do this i'm only 14?

I just wish you would rethink this...

I would go ahead and buy an extension piece from Sally's or Hot Topic for about 5$ and see how it looks.

I personally think it will clash terribly with your hair.

I think you should go for peak-a-boo streaks if you want purple... and then maybe one streak on your bangs (on the side.) If you don't have layers, get at least 3 and dye the middle layer so it shows but it's not too crazy-looking. I'd suggest a deep purple shade.

You actually might have to buy some toner for it though, if your hair doesn't hold color well. I just got red streaks in my hair about a week ago and it's already washing out! (Talk to your stylist).

you're deff not too young.

the first time i dyed my hair purple i was 12.

it's purple again [along with pink and blue] and i'm 15 now.

the purple may clash with your natural color.

yeah.

and people are recommending diff colors.

but that's not what you want obviously, you want purple.

so, i say go for it.

it's only one streak.

ur not 2 young at all. i'm 13 and i got a fuschia streak in my hair. no offense, but i don't think purple would look that good with red hair. try another color, maybe.

try a teal or blue cause purple has to much redish tone in it and it would clash with your red hair or maybe be daring and try it

ps your not to young at 14 i switched the bottom half of my hair from purple to red to blonde within one school year!
