basically its about sacrifice. its how sydney sacrifices himself for charles, to make the girl happy.

thats really all i remember. there wasnt much to it other than that.

It is a very long time since I read A Tale of Two Cities, but it is a powerful novel.  I cannot remember a great deal about it now, but these links should help you with it.

yes it is about sacrifice for love of another

its also a warning about the brutality of the mob and a caution on leadership (especially when leadership is clouded by wealth and privilige)
