  1. Having been all three (like you good self) I would advise the following;

    be a moderate meat eater.

By that I mean eat meat or fish 2 or 3 times a week and have the other days as meat and flesh free.

Veganism is good in many ways but for your B vitamins and calcium its hard to get enough via the vegan diet alone and alot of the supplements are not vegan compatible.

Don't do what I did and substitute cheese/dairy (when vegetarianism) or nuts (when vegan) for meat.

    So the choice is yours,

whatever you chose remember to be moderate

    ;)

  2. why do you need to be persuaded...if you cant make up your own mind..someone else telling you what to do isnt gonna make it all better

EDIT vegetarianism does NOT!!!!!! garuntee you will be healthier, so all those that say you WILL are wrong

  3. If you done it once you can again. Or even a veggie to begin with to break you in abit again.

just stay away from that cheesely stuff. my ex gave me it and it was so so bad, i love my cheese to much to ever be a vegan.

  4. Nobody can persuade you to return to vegan-ism.

Its a choice only you can make.

But just google animal cruelty in the food chain if you need any help.

    That should do it.

This is such a life changing decision ,and if you need persuading,i think maybe you are only half heartedly doing this?.

Vegans and veggies are very serious about the choices they make, and i personally made the decision as a child 40 years ago.

You need a strong conviction too,its no good going vegan, then breaking up with another guy,and grabbing a burger,or walking past burger king, and the smell persuades you to eat the dead stuff they sell in there.

You need to sit and think hard,if your serious, its certainly healthier.

    :)

  5. None, stick with meat.

I bet you love some meat

  6. Hi.

    http://www.meat.org/

Wanna be persuaded? Watch that video.

  7. Think of all the poor animals who are slaughtered so you can eat their flesh.

  8. That's great you're thinking about going back to a vegan diet. Keep in mind it doesn't have to be an overnight, all-or-nothing switch. You could spend a month or more gradually replacing the meat & animal products in your diet with vegan versions. There are so many delicious products available these days, like Tofutti vegan cream cheese and even vegan whipped cream that comes in a spray can! (It's called Soyatoo.)

Also, think about why you want to go back to veganism -- health concerns, animal suffering, environmental issues? I find the animal cruelty in the meat, egg, and dairy industries to be very persuasive and motivating.... but some people are only interested in health or environment issues. Try to find some websites, books, videos, etc. about veganism that look interesting to you. I like these factory farming sites:

    http://mercyforanimals.org/factory_farmi...

    http://www.chooseveg.com/animal-cruelty....

    http://www.chooseveg.com/eggs.asp

If you're doing it for animal cruelty reasons, try to imagine what it must be like to be trapped inside a battery cage for your whole life, barely able to move, unable to flap your wings, having wire cage floors cutting into your feet 24 hours a day... then think about it when you have cravings for non-vegan food. Eventually you'll immediately see those mental images when you're tempted to eat some non-vegan food.

Popular non-dairy products and vegan faux meats:

I hope this helps. Good luck!

  9. 1 - Because your vegan ex bf is going to out live you. Do you really want that girl!!!!

2 - Also watch "meet your meat" a few times.

3 - When ever you bite into some pork, beef, chicken, or fish; just think of the animal it came from crying as it's being killed.

  10. Tell me one thing ,,,

God created those animals in what purpose ???/

Yeah we must eat and enjoy what god gave us and in one word

Meat industry is very bad in usa but this is their fault ,,animals must enjoy thier freedom and eat in meadows like they used to do in old ages

But cutting meat cause we feel sorry for animals is insane

How about if chicken stop eating worms? how about if i tell foxes stop eating rabbits cause they are cute! ,,in the end we will starve cause fox will die from hunger or eat more grass and rabbits will be so much and we will be forced to kill them even if we don’t eat them!

What about health<<all those antibiotics and hormones???

We can announce that we will eat only organic meat and we will stop eating mc/burgers/hotdogs/cold cuts..

We will eat once in a month some grilled meat or steamed

As human we always want to change god’s ways on earth this is our trouble

Now the earth is going into dark days because we think that we are better then god, merciful then god

    That’s my opinion

death and life is scale ,you don’t kill animal cause you are criminal ,,this is your nature ,your body wont balance good without meat/eggs/milk ,don’t over eat it ,but eat it

soy milk is very bad for women cause it contains estrogen yes it has 5 more calcuim then cow milk ,but it can cause breast cancer ,its not healthy

  11. I wouldn't persuade you at all, I can understand vegetarian but vegans baffle me...enjoy cheese and milk they're essential and good for you!

Sorry this isn't really answering your question, but it's hard to persuade someone to be vegan when I'm totally against the idea.

In the end it's your decision though

  12. Just because you don't eat meat doesn't mean less animals will be slaughtered, being vegan/veggie makes no difference to the animals. If you enjoy eating meat and don't feel bad about eating it then do it, you only live once.

  13. Surf VegSource.

They have enough material on there to make most (open minded) people vegan.

    http://www.vegsource.com/

  14. you probably felt much healthier when you were vegan

  15. www.meat.org

  16. If you eat a balanced vegan diet:

    You'll be healthier

    You'll probably live longer

You'll have a much lower chance of developing cancer and other diseases

    You'll have a clear conscience

    You'll be helping the environment

You'll be helping the shortage of food and therefore help end world hunger

    You'll save money

  17. Most Vegitarians/Vegans feel healther than most other people because they get more fruits and veggies. Many people simply do not get enough fruits and veggies. However, when compared to people that do get enough fruits and veggies and that still eat meat those Vegitarians fall short.

There are certain amino acids and fats that you can't get from any source but from animals. Taurine for example. Tuarine is in our heart muscles, nervous sysem, skeletal muscles, and bile where it is used to process oils, fats, and fat soluable vitamins. It is only found in animals.

  18. The vegan diet is probably one of the most healthy ways there are to eat.  It will lower blood pressure, reduce toxins in your body, maximize vitamins.  It will also save animals.  The healthier your body is, the healthier your mind will be, more enrgy etc. etc.

  19. None... don't do it! meat = goooood :) x
