We're looking to buy our 10 month old son a push and ride toy. I'm wondering what push & ride toys you all have for your kids and their pros and cons? Any and all experiences are greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!!!

  1. I got one at a secound hand store that is from fishe price and converts into a walk around.

  2. We got our daughter the Laugh & Learn: Stride to Ride Learning Car when she was about 9 months old.  I thought it might help her learn to walk by pushing it.  Whenever she played with it she would just sit down on the floor and push all the various button, the thing has a ton.  So it has never worked as a push toy.  Hopefully when she is a little older she will have fun riding on it.

  3. this is the absolute best toy in the world. I bought this for my nephew and I can't tell you enough how much he loves this toy. You'll love it too

I found the above stride to ride walker the best. My daughter is now three and she has only just stopped playing with it lol. I really would go with this one.

  5. I have the Playskool: Busy Basics - Step Start Walk 'n Ride It is not the greatest, my son likes it but the problem is when you have it in the pushing mode it is really light weight and can easily be tiped over, my neighbor said the same thing about theres with there son.

I say try finding something that has a little wider base and a little weight to it, that way they can actually stand up with it and push.

  6. We have the walk and ride car for our son. It's great. It has all kinds of little toys on it for him to play with. It converts from a car to a walker he can push. Here is the link for the toy at wal*mart.
