Pushchair - manchester airport?

Does anyone know what happens with a pushchair when flying from manchester airport, does it get checked in with luggage or do you keep it all the time.

Also its a three wheeler and weighs 15 kg would this be a problem.

  1. You can keep it with you up till  you get to the gate, then they will take it off you and put it in the hold. You get a label to put on it when you check in your bags


  2. i flew vfrom manchester airport last year they dont class it in your baggage (its free baggage if you like) you can keep it with you up to the gate and then they take it of you and load it in the baggage area then when you get of the plane the put on the belt with other baggage

  3. i dont know what manchester airport you are talking about, but i fly out of manchester new hampshire all the time with my son, where we take his stroller right to the gate and they put a tag on it and we take it all the way down the ramp to right where you actually walk on the plane, and someone on the flight crew takes it and puts it underneath the plane, and brings it up for us when we land...very efficient!!

  4. I've been out couple of times, I have quinny zap sometimes I took that with me in the plain and sometimes booked that in with my luggage its up to you really.
