Put DVD onto windows Movie Maker Help!!?

Question

Okay, so i'm trying to get Final Fantasy Advent Children clips onto Windows Movie Maker to make a music video, but I'm having a hard time. I've ripped my dvd using magic dvd ripper, but I try to import it on WMM, but it says I need the right codec to put it on there. Where's the best place to get a free codec? Am I doing anything wrong. Can anyone experienced with doing this please help me!!

Just rip the dvd to wmv format and then you can drag it into wmm.

Did you rip DVD files to .avi or .wmv formats?

WMM only support the two video formats above.

If magic DVD ripper cannot rip DVD files to those format video, you can try wondershare video converter which could convert all popular video formats to avi or wmv.
