Put a DVD onto an iPod Video?

Does anyone know of a FREE program (not a trial one) where I can put a DVD movie onto my iPod...without connecting to the internet also?

Use handbrake(free)

Then just follow below steps to add video on ipod

1. Open iTunes and click "File" to add your videos to iTunes library.

2.Then plug in your iPod to computer, iTunes will detect your iPod as a device. select your iPod device on the left panel of iTunes, click "Movies" tab, check the videos you want to sync and click "Apply", done.

I have used almost all free software, but it’s function is limited. So I think you’d better buy one, and Cucusoft DVD to iPod Video Suite is your best choice, because it works great for me. Hope you like it.

or burn the DVD to another blank dvd disc.

You can try HandBrake. That has worked very well for me in the past.
