  1. Capitalism - The ability of everyone within a community or country to increase their own wealth via means of trade.

Trade - Buying or selling commodities or services in exchange for other commodities, services or cash.

Market Economy - The economy of an individual market. economy meaning the financial implications and the market being specific to the trade in which the product, service is in. IE The global economy in the fuel market is intense and prices are rising at the minute. This is the market economy of an individual commodity... fuel.. gas/petrol

Mercantilism - Sorry youll have to check that yersen.

Monarchy - A country or community that has as its ruling head of state a king, queen, emporer or other such hereditary figurehead. Basicallyn put the big boss is the son or daughter of the previous big boss. The UK is a monarchy even though the Queen has no real authority, she is the Head Of State

Democracy - A country or community that has elected via consentual agreement a leader or group of leaders for it's county or community. Ie The USA, canada, uk, france, germany, denmark.... etc

Socialist - An ideolegy whereupon a community or country can share wealth, work and fortune. A socialist country would seek to provide for the wider community if needed at the expense of the economy at large to ensure that all inhabitants get their fair share.

  2. Why must they be in my own words, if you are just going to copy them as your own?

  3. Capitalism is an economy where the holders of capital, or analogous privileges, can extract wealth from the rest of the people. Mercantilism is another word for capitalism.

Socialism is an economy where the workers can keep the value they create; where they, either individually or in groups, control or can control their means of production.

Trade can refer to the physical movement of goods or any negotiations which create value. A market is a network of trade using money; a free market is one of voluntary trade, and an unfree market is one distorted by force. Some forms of socialism are also unfree markets. A market economy is an economy where markets, whether free or unfree, are very important. Capitalism is an UNfree market economy.

I'm not going to define monarchy or democracy.

  5. I know about socialism, but I don't know about those other things.  Sorry.  I'm not much help.  Check my source.  OK?

  6. capitalism- A minimally governed economic system. Allows people to compete freely, and businesses are owned privately, although the lack of regulation has been a point of dispute.  Distinct economic classes often develop as well (ie. lower class, upper class)  Favours freedom over equality

Trade - Exchange of goods or services

Market Economy - An economic system in which consumers are allowed to freely choose the products they will purchase and how to spend their money.  Furthermore, businesses can decide what to sell, how much to sell, and how much to charge for each item freely, as opposed to the government imposing laws.

Monarchy - A political system with a king or queen at the head, with executive powers.  Essentially a god-approved  dictatorship.

Democracy - A political system with elected representatives at the top. Its defining objective is freedom.

Socialism - A political system with equality as its major objective.  The government equally distributes goods and wealth to all of its citizens, so that there are no economic classes within society.  Values equality over freedom.
