Put in stereo and wires fried?

could this effect the transmssion? ever since then the car would idle up to about 2000rpm when started for about 5 minutes, and then my car would get up to third gear and shift really hard back into 2nd. can anyone diagnose this?

yeah U burnt/fused/melted several different wires togrther and now the whole thing neds to b re-wired,,,get ready for a couple months and alot of dollars the fusion is giving power and or taking power when its not supposed to,,,i did that to one of my volvo's a few back took months to fix U might need a couple o harness which is better to replace than each wire and run it an connect it,,,
