okay i ask a question similar to this, where they answered with crimping a spade connector but that made it harder. is it safe if i just wrap the wire around one side of the fuse. it stays in tight and im using an extra one anyway.

  1. Im assuming for your car stereo? Yes that fine.

  2. Yeah as long as the wire is looped under the s***w and not sticking out with copper exposed, you're fine.

  3. This is common. Most of the time, there is a fuse tapping spade you can use. Its a copper piece of metal that your fuse slides into and it rests along the side of the fuse giving you an output for connecting a wire. but if you cannot get one of these, wrapping a wire around one side of the fuse is okay. Just make sure that the blade of the fuse you choose is the fused output side (because you would be defeating the purpose of the fuse).
