  1. both are really sweet putters, id give the edge to the scotty only because you can deck it out with different things. Check out the website

  2. Neither go with a PING. Otherwise, go with the cheaper one cause they're both good.

  3. I have a scotty and will never go back. never.

  4. King -

  5. You buy a putter based on how it plays and feels for you. If both of these categories are equal you should side with the one that is either cheaper or more prestigious to you. It is important to look good as well as feel good while playing.

  6. which ever one you like. they are both nice putters

  7. I would try a long handled putter but either of thoose are nice......But try a long handle they are great

  8. Well as my moniker suggests use of the "Flatstick" is my forte and I go with a Cameron Newport so I would advocate that one.

  9. putters are always a personal thing. its whatever feels the best to you even if its the crappiest putter in the world.  I have one of those new 2 balls and love it. i'm a below average putter, but i still love my putter because of the feel. but i'd probly go with the scotty, just because of their quality.

  10. I have a Scotty Cameron Newport and an older Mizuno when they were made by TP Mills (who taught Cameron) .  I also have 3 others (Ping Ally, Yes Tracy, and a Bobby Grace that Singh used to use)  The reason I have so many is that they seem to go bad.  I put them in the dog house when they are bad and the other's watch and start to behave.  I remember an article where Mark O'Mera was examining the old putter he used in his British Open victory saying, "Man, I used to make everything with you."

Get the Cameron first....you can't beat quality and, like a Porsche will feel great in your hands.  In a few months when it goes bad....get the Mizuno.

Remember, you aren't 'married' to the putter....it is okay to read the menu....and eat.
