Definitely your own preference...I play a Cameron Newport 2, and like it....but putting is all about confidence, DO NOT BUY A PUTTER BECAUSE OF THE NAME. You must have confidence when looking down at it....remember, a confident putter can make a 30 foot putt down a gravel road, or so they say....I must not be very confident.

Well putting is such a personal preference.

I've always had a Scottie but recently I swapped to a wooden putter.  I liked the classic lines and the weight felt good.

I bought it off the internet and it was built specifically for my height - I am quite short at 5'  8".

I love it but still use my Scotty on occasions for old times sake as it has never let me down.

odd answer . kevin burns 9903 is the second most used putter p g a . made for munies . definatly consider the burns . worth the extra few dollars .they are the sonartec of putters . large use , no publicty . keeper putter . good luck .

Putters are personal clubs. What may be a wonderful feeling club to one may be a complete misfit for another. One must build confidence in a putter. He must like the feel, the weight, the swing weight when stroking a putt, how it looks when addressing a ball, and how easy it is to square up to the intended line. Tiger Woods has used the same putter  since his college days and has reshafted it twice. Surely, the reshafting wasn't the result of hitting a long putt. Most amateur golfers have had a single putter for years. But there are pros and amateurs who change putters almost as often as they change underwear. My putter is a relic and was regripped a week ago after 20 years. Love the feel and still am not a great putter.

i like scottie, but it is all down to preferance, so if i had the money, i would get the scottie
