Question:

Putting MP3 Files On Blackberry 8310?

I have tried to both e-mail and bluetooth MP3 files onto my Blackberry 8310 and it either says it doesn't have the supported applications or an unknown error occurred. I really want to use these MP3s as a ringtone, but it won't work! A little help?

  1. First off, do you have a Memory Card? I strongly suggest a memory card if you are putting mp3s on your blackberry, and it is the most simple way.

    WITH a Memory Card.

This is simple with a card. Simply plug in your Blackberry to your Computer, and wait for it to connect. Under your "My Computer" settings, you should have now, something called "Removable Drive", which is your Memory Card. Simply drag and drop the mp3s you want to on that drive. Once done, disconnect your BB, and go to your "Profiles" section. Under the Ring Tone, go to "Browse"...then, point that to wherever the file was saved to on your Memory Card.

    WITHOUT a Memory Card

This is a bit tricky. You have to plug in your BB, and go to the Desktop Manager. Once opened, open up your "Media Manager", and add your mp3s that way. This will eat up the space on your BB, so like i said...get a memory card. They're cheap.
