Putting Windows '95 on a computer?

Hi,

Now Obviously, putting a copy of windows '95, most people would not do. Putting aside all of the disadvantages of the program, and I Know the program will not fit on to a single floppy, what program should I use to make the program bootable. I downloaded the program off the internet, and all of the files are there. I have tried Magic ISO, but I cannot get it to put it on to a floppy. Please, no nobrainier answers.

Thank you!!

Eric

  1. You could internally or externally connect a "zip drive" and buy two or three zip diskettes (they hold about 100MB or 250MB, and look like large 3.5" floppies) to boot from.

  2. Well, look on sites like the Pirate Bay* for the bootable floppy files. Here's a link to the Torrent link (you can use Limewire or BitTorrent to download it [if you don't already have them]):

    http://thepiratebay.org/torrent/3876293/...

Also, here's a program that could help you put the .IMA files on a floppy disk:

*The Pirate Bay is not a virus or malware-filled site

  3. buy a cd-r and copy evrything there its really easy

  4. The original Windows 95 came with the OS on a CD disk AND a separate Windows 95 Boot Floppy disk.  The Floppy was needed to access the contents of the CD.

If you have the ISO it's for the OS CD and must be burned to a CD, using Magic ISO, for example.

You still need to find the Floppy image file to create a bootable floppy disk.  Boot from floppy, then run the CD.

Hint:  Windows 98SE would be a better choice, no floppy required.
