Question:

Putting a chainsaw on a bike?

me and my friend are gonna put a chainsaw engine on a bike to get it to move faster... because we've just about had it with some of the hills in new hampshire. I was wondering if this was legal to ride on roads (that i could normally bike on), and if I needed to get it licensed if I plan on riding anywhere near the police station.

thanks

  1. Get in shape and you won't need a chainsaw motor.

  2. If I had to listen to one of my neighborhood kids ride his bike around powered by a chainsaw engine, I would likely take his bike and beat it to death with my baseball bat.

    Don't do it.

There are already made small engine kits that can be fitted onto a standard bike.  Ones that are nowhere near as loud or polluting as a chainsaw engine.

  3. Never mind the engine just fit the entire chainsaw- think of the fun you'd have with that.
