Putting a frozen meal right in the oven without defrosting

okay so i have this scrummy meal cooking away in the oven, it does look cooked all the way through, just i didnt realise i had to defrost it before the oven, is it still okay to eat?

  1. It depends...generally if it looks cooked all the way through, then you should just trust your judgment. However, when you cook a food that needed to be defrosted first, then chances are that the outside looks done but the inside is still frozen/undercooked.


  2. no, half cooked meats, carry bacterias and germs which can be very harm full and upset your stomach.  if its beef, place the beef in a small frying pan, with 1/2 cup of the juices from the meat and cook it at a very low flame intil the inside, is almost a light brown color.  If its prok, try adding a red or brown gravy to the food and continue to cook at a low heat until the sauce has thickend up. and if iot chicken i suggest you throw it out although you could do the same thing with the chicken as the pork, bu do you really want to take that risk. raw chicken yeild the most bacteria.  hope this helped you out, try defrosting you food in the microwave with warm water or just let it soak for 1hour in hot water.
