Putting an engine in a go kart?

OK so im building a wooden go kart and i want to know how i can but an engine on it. I would also apprictate if you could tell me how to build a gas and brake pedal. Thank You

wooden go cart defiantly different but to mount it i would just drill all the way through the boards you going to mount the engine to and just bolt the engine directly to the board and use finder washers to keep the bolts from pulling through to keep the chain tight i would use a skate bord wheel on a lever with a bolt for adjustment for the break just a piece of steel that pushes against the tire works fine in low speed applications for the throttle i think you can get over the counter throttle peddles for go carts or make one really easily but go some were that has go carts and look at how some of them set up and see if u can make something that will work with yours
