Putting coaxial to close to electrical outlet?

arnt you suppose to put it like 12" away? is there a code for that?because the cable company put it back to back to a electrical outlet. and i just read it and wanted to check. any help thx

you should be alright the coax is sheilded.  If you notice lines moving horizontily from bottom to top then i would have them move it.

Coax and electrical supply wires are usually bundled to gether during building of houses because the TV antenna outlet is usually adjacent to the power socket . No problem whatever !!
