  1. OK. Subs and amps are rated Peak watts. It really depends on the amp if one will be enough. When the system gets installed the amp-out from the deck wont matter unless its running speakers directly. There is a pre out (or out from the deck before the signal is amplified) that will go to the amp you want to install. Most decks have two (front and rear) preouts, these will be used for front and rear speakers basically. If you have an amp that is bridgeable and will run front channels as well then you probably only have an amp that is PEAK 250 watts pre channel. NO WHERE NEAR ENOUGH. distortion can happen from lack of power as well as too much. Also you will need to consider whether you will be running them 2,4,or 8 ohms. This will also depend on the amp due to most not being 2 ohm stable. It sounds like you may use the 1K watt amp for the fron channel and be ok with roughly 125 watt true RMS to each speaker. dont expect more than that. I would also get a "D" class monolith amp if you plan on running two 1000 watt subs. It will supply more power longer due to the electronics and will provide great output wattage to your speakers. (also most ARE 2ohm stable) Look into a Sony explode 1600W D class. It is 700-800 True rms from each channel. Make sure your Subs are good ones.

  2. An amplifier amplifies (takes in a sound signal, adds power to it hence "amplifying" and then delivers it to the speakers, effectively making it louder)

The wattage that you listed for speakers and amps appear to be peak power.  I need to know about the rms power of speakers and amp before I can comment further.

If you want to run both subs and speakers off one amp, no I believe that it isnt going to be powerful enough.

Please post more info and I will try to help.

  3. Everything sounds good except ou need a bigger amp goodd luck

  4. it depends on if its a mono amp, 2 channel or 4 channel. all are rated different. ive never seen 500 watt door speakers but that doesnt mean they arent out there, so if thats the case, we need to know the OHM load for the amp and what ohm the speakers are. it should say on the bottom of the amp or in the manual. for mono and stereo.

  5. Ok so you plan to get car speakers that have 500 watts each. whoa thats too much  for car speakers. the deck 50 watts dont pay to much attention to that. THe amp is what is vital if you plan to get subs that have a 1000w rms then i would get a amp that is at least 2000watts since you plan to power the car speakers to. If your not going to get the car speakers then get a 1500 watt amp you dont want to over power you amp because if the woofers are 1000 watts rms and the amp is 1000 watts peak your going to stress the amp and burn it out. The amp works by giving out power(watts) to the subs. Just make sure you get a amp that higher then your subs rms. Make sure you have proper wiring and a good alternator and battery possibly a cap. You should be alright just email me if you need to know anything else.

  6. WHAT CHANNEL IS THE AMP, IF IT IS 2 CHANNEL IT WILLL WORK, IT SEPARATES THE WATTS BY CHANNEL EACH CHANNEL HAS IT OWN WATTS, IT IS 2 CHANNEL BRIDGE IT AND HOOK UP BOTH SPEAKERS TOGATHER  2 NEG AND 2 POSI, THAT'S A 1000WATTS TO BOTH SPEAKERS SO IF YOU HAVE 2 SUBS AT 1K EACH THE WILL BRING STRAIN ON THE AMP UNLESS YOU HAVE A GOOD AMP, MOSFET BUILT IN ARE THE BEST, YOU WILL NOT GET REALLY GOOD PERFORMANCE BUT YOU SHOULD GET TO 1000 WATTS AMPS OR JUST A 2500 WATT AMP AND THAT WILL PUSH THEM AT THE RIGHT WATTS AND BETTER QUALITY AND A LOT LESS STRAIN ON THE AMP FROM OVER HEATING AND BLOWING FUSES
