Putting male snake in same tank as female?

Hi, i have 2 corn snakes, both in seperate tanks. 1 of either s*x. Is it ok to move them into the same tank permanantly and is there anyway to prevent them breeding? Also how would i go about tfeeding them?

  1. snakes should only be put together to breed there solitary animals

    so no u cant

Some types of snakes, such as ball pythons can be grouped in pairs, but corn snakes are solitary animals and do not get along with each other.  If you are hoping to save space and the tank is large enough, (i would say about 30 gal if they are full grown) you could use a tank divider, which would both keep them from breeding and aviod any conflicts.
