...what shots is he going to need to be accepted by the cattery? I'm UK? He's about 8 years old.....no signs of probs..but no on-going record of shots. Is a recent record of shots going to make him acceptable to a cattery?

  1. Call the cattery and ask what they require.  Then schedule a vet's appointment for a check up and have him brought up to date on his inoculations.  Your vet will provide you with documentation that he is healthy and all his inoculations are current.

Good Luck and enjoy your holiday!

  2. I'm in the US not UK ...

Here in the US the current shots are all that is needed.

They want to know if the cat is able to pass on disease to other cats.

    good luck

  3. I have recently put my cat in cattery..

what all they need..is the vaccination certificate..and some deposit !

be careful for the cattery you choose..not all of them good as they say !

  4. he just has to be up to date with all vacinations.

pop into your vet and have a word with them.

remember to take your vaccination card to the cattery, with record of all up to date jabs.

  5. Just call the cattery and ask them what shots are required, they will certainly know.
