so iv read up about that to put baby to sleep you just need to put them in a sleep suit and swaddle them in swaddling blanket or reeciving sheet...basically a cotton sheet..but then why do you need all these other blakets like celluar blankets or thick ones what are these yoused for..i understand need ones foor tummy time but those are the fluffy kind...so what do need thick blankets and cellular sheets for if your not meant to use much when the baby goes to sleep at night??....:S:S i dont get it..idont want to overheat baby or make it too cold?

  1. id have to agree its confusing and i honestly dont get ot either but for my son i use a soft blanket to cover him up with at noght because it soothes him and helps him sleep

  2. You can put a blanket on the baby when you bring them out in the cold weather (I actually keep a blanket for each of my kids in the car).  Some moms drape a blanket over an infant seat to keep nosy strangers away.  After 1 year old it is okay to give your child a blanket on a cold night.  There's also a good chance that your baby may turn one of the blankets into a lovey when they get to be a toddler.

  3. we use any baby blanket cellular, swaddle her nice and tight!!!!

She sleeps from 7-4 then 4-7 from about 6 weeks!

She didnt like being swaddled before then so we use to just tuck her in with a cellular blanket.

I only use sheets when its really hot! The fluffy ones i use in her car seat or on the couch!

    Good luck.
