Question:

Putting new speakers on an 80's analog tv?

i blew the speaker on my tv and am wondering if it is possible to connect bigger speakers to it. please give any links to sites that could help or just give me some advice on it. thanks!!!

it wont work i tried frantically i ended up with a new tv

not really.. you could go in there and pull out the wires and connect them to some speakers, but the real problem is the power, i'm sure the tv is only giving 5 watts or less to the speaker, so putting a bigger one in there wouldn't really do anything..

Places like Cambrige Soundworks sell an outboard TV speaker with it's own amp. But without RCA outputs on the TV - you will have to hand-wire speaker wires to drive it.

I suspect you need a new TV.

honestly you need modern tv becasue in Feb 2009 all analog tvs will not work
