Putting songs on my ipod ?

So my little brother gave me his ipod. It already had songs uploaded and playlists, so i plugged it into my computer and erased his music. Now i want to upload my own playlist on itunes but it uploads all the songs. i want to be able to pick and choose [its probably super easy , but im stuck =/ ] . thanks hope someone out there can help !

  1. when the ipod is plugged in and you have the info appear click on the 'music' tab. you will see that "all songs and playlists" is checked. instead, you want to check "selected playlists". then just choose your playlists and you're all good!

Lol, when you plug your ipod in it should bring you to a pae showing details of your ipod, and there should be a few ticks at the bottom, one saying "only sync checked songs" you put a tick in that spot and that should do it. oh, also, all the songs in your library that are ticked will be the ones that go on your ipod

  3. When you sync your songs through itunes, make sure you only put a check in the box next to the songs that you want to transfer.  

  4. i think you have to uncheck the boxes of the songs you dont want beside the track name. or just take out the songs which you do not want and save them in some other folder on the comp if you want them. best of luck.
