Putting swivels on a 870 express?

I have a 870 Remington Express, I would like to put a gun sling on it but I don't know where the second swivel goes. One is for the magazine and the second I am not sure if I have to drill in the stock or not? Also if I do, where on the stock? Thanks

The top swivel goes on the s***w cap on your magazine tube...the bottom one goes on the underside of the stock about an inch or two up from the butt.  Yes, you'll have to drill the hole for the stock - just don't drill a hole too small for the threads on the s***w, or when you are s******g it in, you may crack the stock.

If you go to your local Wally-World or other sporting goods store, they sell swivel kits for the 870.  If you feel uncomfortable drilling into your stock, take it to a gunsmith.
