Question:

Putting tracks onto an ipod?

i have a friend who is going to Australia this week. He has bought a new ipod and wants to put all his cd's onto this. He has stored all his cd's on a portable hard drive - but I need to know how I get these on the ipod. When I have tried the import function it lets me do this track by track. I want to do this album by album

Any clues if this can be done, and how?

Thanks

  1. 1.put the cd in

    2.plug in the device

3.burn the tracks on to windows media player

4.rip them in to the windows media player library

    5.click on sync

6.drag them to the box on the right hand side

    7.then click sync

8.wait till all of the tracks have been added the the ipod

    done!!!

    hope it works!

  2. Don't bother with import function just use itunes drag and drop feature drag the whole lot onto the library icon within itunes.

You can multi select during import using the shift key as per any feature too.

then use itunes to manage and sort the music how you like it (use the get info feature to change  titles and genre and artwork etc).

then once you are happy plug in ipod and from its tab in itunes select what you want to sync then simply sync it.
