Putting two contacts in your eye at once?

i wear daileys and i wanna get cat eye contacts from the swap meet or all bklack ones. so i was wondering if i could put the color or cat eyes one in and then my prescription one??or vise versa? or would that blur my vison?

anyone knoe how much the contacts would be from the swap meet?

PLEASE dont even buy contact lenses without seeing your optometrist. not only is it illegal to sell them buy its illegal to buy them. they are poorly made cheap imported lenses which do no good to your eyes at all. they are not sterilised like your normal ones are and i can almost guaruntee you will get an eye infection from them. they will not be the same measurements are your daily ones are anyways so they will either be too small or too big for your eye.

as for wearing two contact lenses, you can if you want to suffocate your eye and deprive it from oxygen. good brand contacts have been trailled on human eyes and designed to enhance confort while oxygenating and hydrating your eyes. the stupid cats eye ones do not so just stick to your normal dailies mate!

I use contacts myself and I won't recommend you putting in two at once, I suggest to be safe and get your prescription ones anyway you want them, cat eye or anything. They are your eyes, we take them for granted, don't take risks with them. Take care. :)

You can do it. I did it on Halloween a few times, wore coloured contacts over my normal ones. I can only imagine that your eyes would dry up faster, but it didn't even feel that much different, or impair my vision.

i think there are contacts that are designed as a cat's so you don't have to put two contacts at the same time on one eye. you should try getting those instead so that you won't unnecessarily harm your eyes.

That is a terrible idea, you will reduce the amount of oxygen that is getting to your eye which can cause many serious problems.  Also what is meant by a swap meet? people selling things that are already used? That is even a worse idea, you could end up in the hospital by the end of the night waiting for a corneal transplant from a serious infection.

You only have 2 eyes remember that.  If you want special fx contacts talk to your eye doctor about it!

First, purchasing contacts without a prescription is not only dangerous but illegal. You shouldn't even think of doing it. Instead, see the person who prescribed you the first pair of contacts and ask for theatrical lenses in your actual + or - prescription, in the right size to fit YOUR eyes.

Second, yes, it's very much harmful to piggyback (stack on top of another) two contacts. You dramatically reduce the oxygen transmission (BAD) and both lenses will dry out much faster.

i dont know if i understand your question but i highly doubt 2 contacts will stay in one eye.... it would be super uncomfortable and your eyes would be really dry
