Barcelona finally received the good news of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/David-c10409 Villa being fit to play for them. However, the club captain, Carles Puyol, believes that the club should not rush with the Spanish striker’s injury.
David Villa broke his tibia in December, when Barcelona were trying to win the FIFA Club World Cup. While Barcelona won the cup, it was David Villa who limped out and had a plastered leg.
Since David Villa was missing from their starting line-up, Barcelona struggled in the Spanish La Liga and the UEFA Champions League.
Josep Guardiola had lack of options in the final third, and the Catalan manager had to play the likes of Isaac Cuenca, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Cristian-c9491 Tello and Alexis Sanchez, even though they weren’t performing at the highest level.

club.
Now with David Villa finally making a comeback from injury, Carles Puyol believes that the club should not rush him into the first team.
Puyol just came back from a knee injury as well, and he believes that long-term injuries should not be rushed, just like David Villa’s.
While speaking about David Villa, Carles Puyol said:
"He seems in good shape, full of desire, hope and intensity.”
"What happens is that with such a long-term injury the most important thing is not to rush.”
