In an iceberg, there is a shaft of salt water. Is the shaft man made or is it natural? Explain.

  1. I would say it was man made. Because an iceberg seen above water is only about 1/10 of its actual size. So, assuming that the shaft is not as long as the rest of the 9/10 of the iceberg, it has to be filled with fresh water, which an iceberg ismade of. Because if the shaft is man made, the people had to somehow fill it with water. What better than to hose gallons of water from the ocean into the shaft?
