  1. It would heat up. dis is b'coz fridge removes heat and does not produce cold. The components remove the heat from the fridge . When u  open up the fridge, the compressor has to do more work than normal which it doesn't & radiates out d heat in the room.

  2. i'm going to believe the first three guys. they seem smart. i would have thought the room cooled down. go figure.

  3. The room would heat up.  If the door is left open, the compressor has to keep running and running to cool off the fridge, but since the door is open, it wouldn't ever become cool.  The amount of heat generated by the compressor is more than the amount of cool that results.  This is because there is always inefficiency in any system.  Therefore, it takes more energy (heat) to run the compressor than the amount of cool (heat removed) that results.  So the room heats up.

  4. Heat up, uP, UP, UP........... :)

  5. Heat up. The fridge moves heat from inside to outside. The compressor and fan generate heat in the process.

  6. it would heat up. the fridge doesn't produce cold, it removes heat...which would go right back into the room.

  7. It would heat up.  The fridge is less than 100% efficient, so as it pumps heat from inside the fridge to outside the fridge it adds additional heat.  The result is that the longer it runs the more additional heat it will add.
